This website
www.direwolfcybersecurity.com sets no non-essential cookies and, today, no cookies at all. It uses no analytics, tracking pixels, embedded third-party content, third-party scripts or third-party fonts. The contact form sends your message to Direwolf and nothing else. Nothing on this website identifies you or follows you to other sites.
The Direwolf Platform
app.direwolfcybersecurity.com uses strictly necessary cookies only:
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime | Attributes |
|---|---|---|---|
direwolf_session |
Keeps you signed in after you authenticate. The session itself is held on our servers; the cookie only identifies it. | Ends when you sign out, after 15 minutes of inactivity, or after 12 hours at most. | Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, limited to the Platform’s domain |
direwolf_csrftoken |
Protects forms and API requests against cross-site request forgery. | For the session. | Secure, SameSite=Lax, limited to the Platform’s domain |
Both cookies are required for the Platform to work and to protect your account. They are not used for advertising, analytics, profiling or tracking, and they are not shared with anyone.
The Platform also stores one interface preference, your choice of light or dark theme, in your browser’s local storage. That value never leaves your browser and is not used to track you.
Payment pages
When you buy a subscription you are taken to a checkout page hosted by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe sets its own cookies on its own domain for fraud prevention and to operate the checkout; those are governed by Stripe’s cookie policy, not this notice.
Why there is no cookie banner
Consent banners are for cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics or advertising cookies. We set none. If that ever changes, this notice will be reissued with a new version number, and a consent mechanism will be in place before any non-essential cookie is set.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not track visitors across websites, so there is nothing for a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We do not respond to those signals because your preference is already honored.
How to control cookies
You can see, block and delete cookies in your browser’s settings; each browser’s help pages explain how. Blocking the Platform’s necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in. Clearing them signs you out.
